Snowpocalypse Means No School For Overjoyed Don Mills Students

So, the much-hyped Snowpocalypse didn’t exactly live up to expectations, but it did bring one joyous side effect to the kids of Don Mills: A snow day! As I walked around the neighbourhood this morning, I saw several young students trying to open the locked doors of their various places of learning, only to turn around and yell excitedly, ‘No school! No school today!’. Was there ever two sweeter words than ‘Snow Day’ to a Canadian kid? Well, maybe ‘Free Xbox’ or ‘Justin Bieber’. But, for the sake of sentiment and artistic license, I’m gonna stick with ‘Snow Day’.
