Three Valleys Drive in 1960 BT (Before Trees)

Thanks to Nicholas Jennings for letting me publish his great photo, taken in 1960, of Three Valleys Drive ‘Before Trees’. I like thinking about Don Mills as being BT and AT – the landscape has changed so much, and the trees are all so mature now (much like the residents) that it really looks like another world when you see the early photos of when it was built. By the way, I came across this pic on the very active Facebook group, ‘I Grew Up In Don Mills’ which is a veritable goldmine of information and well worth joining, even if you DIDN’T spend your formative years hanging out in Rocketship Park or eating at the Coach n’ Four.
